Writing hasn't always been my passion. It's something that has aged with me, become stronger for each passing day. It has steadily become a part of me and made me who I am today.
I was born in the seaside town of Poole, on England's South Coast. A pretty average kid, I wasn't exactly a grade A student. Quite the opposite in fact, I hated school, hated homework, hated being told what to do. I guess I was a bit of a rebel. I left school without being able to read or write, fell into a world of drugs and alcohol and ended up homeless. Life is an amazing thing though and has an amazing habit of turning around. I taught myself to read and write, moved to Sweden and have lived here the past twenty-five years. I work with special needs children and write as if I might die if I was to quit. That's life |
